About the Roy W. Slusher Foundation
Working Today for a Brighter Tomorrow
The Roy W. Slusher Foundation is the legacy of a man who combined extraordinary vision and leadership qualities with a genuine concern for human well being. It was the wish of Roy, and his beloved wife Nora, that a major portion of their wealth be used to give others an opportunity to advance their capabilities. Since its inception in 1988, the Roy W. Slusher Charitable Foundation has distributed $7,300,000 to non-profit organizations in southwest Missouri, and groups elsewhere in the world. The Foundation accepts unsolicited grant applications at any time. However, grant applications are reviewed on a semi-annual basis, and application deadlines are March 1 and August 1 of each year.
